Students at Arabian Pearl Guld School in Bahrain work with each other to investigate the causes of stress and depression in high school students around the world. The research gathered was then used to inform and address students about academic stress and depression in their own school. In their own words, “We chose this topic because we want to raise awareness about this issue that is common between us teenagers and to highlight the consequences of it on our lives. Thus, our targeted audience were teenagers in our school, specifically students from grades 9 to 12.”
This student project was created as part of Youth Talk program, a youth virtual exchange program that connects students in North America and the Middle East and North Africa. It is run by Global Nomads Group, in partnership with Bridges of Understanding.
