Students at the Arabian Pearl Gulf School in Manama, Bahrain worked with their peers at the Ramsey School in Ramsey, NJ to raise awareness and end bullying, specifically to those with dyslexia. They took action by creating posters to put up around their school and posted on Instagram to raise awareness. They also partnered with the Nidaa Youth Group to reach further into their community and march to raise awareness about dyslexia. The following is a link to the Nida youth Group's Instagram account in order to follow the Bahraini community service youth group.
This student project was created as part of Youth Talk 2014-15, a youth virtual exchange program that connects students in the United States and the Middle East and North Africa. It is run by Global Nomads Group, in partnership with Bridges of Understanding.
