The students at Trinity School in New York, NY, USA investigated the important issue greenhouse gases in the environment in collaboration with the Amna Bint Wahab Independent Secondary Schools for Girls in Doha Qatar. Together they created an awareness campaign about the carbon footprint, and the students have stated the following in regards to the issue and their project:
“Global Nomads Trinity and our partner school in Qatar are working on a shared project that focuses on defining the carbon footprint as the total amount of greenhouse gases produced to directly, and indirectly, support your activities. Our goal is to make students and community members from both schools aware of their carbon footprint.”
This student project was created as part of Connecting Cultures, Exploring Science 2015-16, a youth virtual exchange program that connects students in the US and Qatar. CCES is run by Global Nomads Group.
