Students at Buffalo High School in Buffalo, USA investigated the biases of different media outlets in hopes of becoming smart consumers of information. They made a video project called Learning How to Identify Fake News and Avoid Media Bias in which they show some examples of fake news and a list of steps that will help students identify them. They also created a brochure that will be distributed around the school with more information on the leanings (politically) of different media sites.
This student project was created as part of Youth Talk program, a youth virtual exchange program that connects students in North America and the Middle East and North Africa. It is run by Global Nomads Group, in partnership with Bridges of Understanding.
