The students at Al-Hassad Girls School for Boys in Irbid, Jordan investigated the important issue of recycling and reusing in collaboration with the Bronx Health Sciences High School in Bronx, New York, USA. Together they created an awareness campaign about the problem, and the students have stated the following in regards to the issue and their project:
“Because the environment is very important, it is a wealth that should be for next generation. We made this awareness campaign to address how much the environment is valuable and how we should be careful not misuse it.”
This student project was created as part of YouthTalk 2016, a youth virtual exchange program that connects students in the US and the Arab World. It is run by the Global Nomads Group, in partnership with Bridges of Understanding.
