Restricting Hate Speech

Students at Beaconhouse Margalla Campus in Islamabad, Pakistan worked with their peers at Menifee County School in Kentucky, USA to investigate the problem of hate speech in their communities. Beaconhouse students created a documentary project and initiated a Kickerstarter campiagn to raise awareness about hate speech, hate crimes, and the role of freedom of speech.

This student project was created as part of Global Citizens in Action 2014-15, a youth virtual exchange program that connects students in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and North America. It is run by Global Nomads Group, in partnership with PEACE in Pakistan and School of Leadership, Afghanistan (SOLA).
